Our story

Artisans for education: unique pieces and heritage objects

We collaborate with local artisans to create limited edition objects (e.g. perfume holders, ceramic or leather accessories) that accompany Maison al Zakarya products. These artisanal creations, inspired by Moroccan history and heritage, are sold to benefit our association. Customers can thus discover unique objects that demonstrate ancestral know-how, while contributing to the promotion and preservation of local crafts and education.

At Maison al Zakarya, we value Moroccan craftsmanship by collaborating with local artisans to design unique objects inspired by the country's traditions. These pieces, developed in limited series, embody Moroccan cultural heritage and are created specifically to accompany our attars in a luxurious and meaningful ensemble.

Each object in this collection—whether hand-carved attar holders, bottles adorned with worked leather, or delicately decorated ceramic accessories—tells the story of ancestral know-how that has been passed down from generation to generation.

We favor local materials and authentic artisanal techniques: Moroccan leather, olive wood, Fez ceramics, and traditional weaving are all ways of highlighting Moroccan heritage and the artisans who perpetuate it.

By purchasing these objects, Maison al Zakarya customers are not only acquiring a unique piece. They are actively supporting two fundamental missions: the preservation of a rich and diverse artisanal heritage, as well as the financing of educational projects through our association. The profits generated by these pieces are entirely donated to finance literacy programs, libraries and other educational initiatives in disadvantaged regions of Morocco.
